    Stair Nosing

    Stair nosing are an ideal anti-slip solution for any stair case. It is applicable where pedestrian safety and stair longevity are the particular concern.

    Stair Nosings with various options, finishes and materials such as anti-slip tape, fiberglass stair nosing, aluminium stair nosing with various anti-slip inserts to suit any application and budget. At Igate Automation, we stock an extensive range of architectural and industrial finishes and also a “Glow in the Dark” anti-slip insert option, which is ideal in the case of a black out.

    STAIR NOSING - CARBORUNDUM INFILL

    Igate Automation’s Surface Mount stair nosing features clear anodised aluminium matched with a high-grade carborundum insert.

    Designed to comply with AS/NZ 1428.1 2009, it features high grade aluminium construction with a carborundum insert. A P5 slip rating from a NATA approved laboratory, tested to AS 4586.

    Available in Black, Yellow, Grey and White insert to provide designer options, as well as providing a solution for various colour and types of substrates – enabling compliance with the 30% colour contrast required under the standard.

    This type of nosing is surface mounted, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. It can be used for new construction, as well as retrofit requirements.
